Evil Editor Critiques Your Query

Scott McFadden alerted me to this link last night at the Workshop: it's a blog by an apparently knowledgeable editor who re-writes your fiction query for you. Unfortunately he also rips you up in the process; however, even those who are too faint at heart to undergo the blue ink of Evil Editor's pen can learn something by seeing the treatment he gives to others not so shy.

As Evil Editor [EE] himself writes:

You may not submit a query for a private critique. You must be willing to be humiliated (or praised) in a public forum. The lessons to be learned from having your query critiqued are probably available in the critiques of other authors' queries, however, so if you don't have the guts to submit, read the archives.
