Tony Hillerman Mystery Writers Conference in the Land of Enchantment
All right, I know there's a lot of conferences but not every one of them
1) Is within reasonable driving distance of Fort Worth
2) Has as celebrity tie-in a writer loved as much as Tony Hillerman
Yes, Hillerman hismself will be addressing the conference attenders, in addition to the usual writer's conference fare: workshops with writers, editors, and agents, pitch sessions, and schmoozeathon cocktail party and meals.
Sounds like it might be worth going. At least to me ...
But then, let's be honest. I never need much of an excuse to go to New Mexico.
