Time to enter our annual Poetry & Short Story Competition
It's back by popular demand! Our Poetry & Short Story Competition is judged by outside experts. It's open both to the public and to Workshop members. Deadline for submission is Aug. 29 -- that's when it has to be in our mailbox. The winners will be announced in October, and we'll have a public reading of the winners at the North Richland Hills Barnes and Noble, as we have in previous years.
There's a $15 entry fee for the short story competition, with a one-story limit. For the poetry side of the contest, it's $5 per poem, up to a limit of three poems. First place prize in each contest is $100.
