Great turnout at On Writing seminar

More than 60 people showed up to hear six published writers speak at the DFW Writer's Workshop seminar Nov. 11 at the Euless Public Library. Candace Havens, A. Lee Martinez, Stephen Manning, Carmen Goldthwaite, Rosemary Clement Moore and Sarah Clark Jordan covered topics including finishing that first draft no matter how busy you are, the rewards of writing nonfiction, and creating interesting characters.

Workshop enjoys a successful celebration

Here are a few pictures from the Workshop's 250-book celebration on Oct. 11. The event was a great success with a lot of familiar faces in attendance. Here's looking forward to the 500-book celebration!

July 16 & every third Wednesday - Poetry night at the regular meeting. Members interested in writing poetry will split off into a separate group during critiques.
