Special Poetry Night Guest
Anne Perry says ....
Tomorrow night (Wed Feb 21) we are having a special workshop in the poetry session, with a poet from New York with us. We'll do an experiential writing exercise (the first half) before we have our poetry sharing (the second half). It is not limited to "poets"; prose writers may join as well and do not have to stay in the poetry session (the second half).
Dru Cederquist will bring a special presence to the group. Her blog: Luminous Realities: Exploring the Creative Process - Author's Blog at http://luminousrealities.blogspot.com

A second challenge is to write a concrete poem, where the shape of the lines forms a shape itself.

Media Bistro You-Tube-esque videos of writers pitching to editor
All right, this is the coolest on-line help I've seen in a while. Although it's painful to watch, if you get too tense at seeing the hapless writers blow their pitches you can stop the streaming video and go to the conclusion where the editor gives his responses.
