Texan Perry Curtis Bales lives in Arlington with his wife,Edwina. He
retired from Lockheed in Fort Worth after 17 years as a Cost Reduction
Administrator. He's a member of the First Christian Church in Arlington
and an active participant in the Arlington Christmas Samaritans, and
Meals on Wheels. He earned a Business Degree from Central Missouri
State in Warrensburg, Missouri. His oldest daughter, Lynn, also
graduated from Central Missouri. His son, Eddy, and middle daughter,
Debbie, graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, while his
youngest daughter, Jenny, graduated from Rice University in Houston.
She plays lead trumpet for the United States Air Force Heartland Band.
Curtis and Edwina have seven grandchildren.
Curtis has published numerous tax, how to, and inspirational articles.
Raised on a farm in Kansas, he listened to endless stories of the late
1800's told by his father, some of them fact and some fiction. He
revives these stories in his novels. _
